Sunrise Over The White Road In Tuscany
Started in Tuscany, en plein air, and painting the sunrise over and over again, I came to an understanding about the nature of a sunrise. The difference between a sunrise painting and a sunset painting is based on our experience of time. The sky gets lighter every passing minute of a sunrise. The sky gets warmer, and darker in a sunset. So I kept my values light and bright in this spectacular morning view of the Sienese Tuscan hills. Painted near San Gimignano, Tuscany, Italy 🇮🇹
